We are currently looking for an experienced Shuttering Joiner to start on Monday for an ongoing site-project based in York.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of first and second fix carpentry and joinery duties as required by the project.
Daily tasks may include fitting doors, frames, skirting, architraves, ironmongery, studwork, timber installations, general finishing works, and any other associated joinery duties.
You will be expected to work from drawings where required, use your own initiative, and ensure all work is completed to a high standard within agreed timescales.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of site health and safety procedures, be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently as well as part of a wider site team.
You should be confident using a range of hand and power tools, have excellent attention to detail, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.
A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a proactive approach to work are essential.
Candidates must hold a valid CSCS card and have their own tools and appropriate PPE.
Previous experience in a similar role is required, and relevant qualifications in carpentry or joinery are advantageous.
