We are recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a highly respected South Coast contractor with over 40 years' experience delivering high quality construction projects across the education, healthcare, residential, community and public sectors. Quantity Surveyor Job Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management from tender handover to final account
- Interim valuations, CVRs, cost forecasting and final accounts
- Managing subcontractor packages, variations and payments
- Working under JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Supporting project teams to protect margin and control cost
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Chartered RICS or working towards
- 3 to 7 years experience with a UK main contractor
- Strong JCT and/or NEC knowledge
- Confident managing subcontractors independently
