Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting a long-term framework based in Portsmouth. This is a key position supporting multi-year programmes of planned and reactive works, ensuring strong commercial performance, accurate forecasting, and effective client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of civils & infrastructure projects
- Cost control, forecasting, and reporting
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Contract administration (NEC preferred)
- Managing variations, valuations, and final accounts
- Supporting framework delivery and client engagement
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure project success
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS within civil engineering or utilities/infrastructure projects
- Experience with NEC forms of contract
- Background in frameworks or long-term programmes preferred
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
