An established, multi-discipline building contractor is looking to appoint an experienced M&E Project Electrician to work across a portfolio of commercial projects, predominantly within high-profile, occupied buildings across the City of London. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical knowledge, a professional approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
Project Electrician Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of electrical systems in line with 18th Edition regulations
- Fault finding on existing electrical installations
- Installation of lighting and small power systems
- Carrying out site surveys and providing technical input to Contracts Managers
- Working to NICEIC and health and safety standards
- Delivering high-quality workmanship to support repeat business
Project Electrician Requirements
- BS7671 18th Edition
- City and Guilds Electrical qualifications
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing
- CSCS Card
- Experience within commercial and or residential electrical installations
- Knowledge of lighting control systems such as DALI desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
