Start Date: 26th October 2026
Duration: Up to 4 months' work We are looking for 2 experienced Steel Fixers to join a busy construction project based in Hinckley, starting 26th October 2026. This is a great opportunity for reliable, skilled tradespeople looking for up to 4 months of work. Duties
Fixing and installing steel reinforcement for concrete structures.
Reading and working from reinforcement drawings and plans.
Cutting, bending and tying reinforcement steel to the required specifications.
Installing reinforcement bars, mesh and associated steelwork.
Ensuring reinforcement is positioned and secured correctly before concrete is poured.
Working safely around other trades and site personnel.
Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
Carrying out other steel fixing duties as required by the site management team. Requirements
Previous experience as a Steel Fixer.
Ability to read and understand reinforcement drawings.
Relevant qualifications/CSCS card as required for the site.
Good understanding of construction site health and safety.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
Own tools and PPE where required. 2 positions available
