As a Joinery Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings for bespoke joinery and cabinetry packages, supporting projects from design through to manufacture and installation. Working closely with designers, project managers, and workshop teams, you will ensure drawings are accurate, practical to manufacture, and aligned with client specifications. This opportunity would suit someone with solid joinery drafting experience looking to further develop their career within a high-quality bespoke manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Produce detailed technical drawings for bespoke joinery and cabinetry
- Interpret design, architectural, and construction drawings
- Create workshop drawings, construction details, and material schedules
- Liaise with project and production teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Assist in resolving technical and manufacturing challenges
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and installation requirements
- Support efficient material usage and practical build solutions
- Previous experience as a Joinery Draughtsman, CAD Technician, or Technical Designer
- Good technical understanding of joinery construction and manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential)
- Experience using 3D modelling software would be beneficial
- Knowledge of materials such as hardwoods, veneers, laminates, and specialist finishes
