Senior Site Manager in Hampshire

One Way are working with an established construction contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have a strong main contractor background and experience delivering substantial construction projects, with project values ranging up to approximately £25 million. The business works across a varied range of construction projects, including new-build, residential, commercial and industrial schemes. Current and upcoming project examples include schemes such as: New-build industrial and warehouse developments, including large warehouse facilities, covered external areas, link canopies, vehicle and lorry yards, parking, cycle storage and associated external works. Residential developments of approximately 70+ apartments, including a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom units, with associated parking, landscaping, access roads and external works. Commercial and mixed-use developments Refurbishment and redevelopment projects Other main contractor projects ranging in value up to approximately £25 million Senior Site Manager - The Role As Senior Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful day-to-day delivery of projects, managing the site team, subcontractors and wider construction process to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Senior Site Manager - Key Responsibilities Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects Leading and managing Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers and wider site teams Coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades Managing programmes and ensuring works remain on schedule Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality standards Working closely with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and wider commercial team Managing site logistics, sequencing and resources Attending client and consultant meetings where required Monitoring progress and reporting against programme Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant regulations Senior Site Manager - About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working for a main contractor Proven experience operating as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager Experience delivering projects up to £25 million Experience across sectors such as residential, commercial, industrial or mixed-use construction A strong understanding of construction processes and site management Experience managing subcontractors and large site teams Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements Excellent organisational and communication skills The ability to take ownership of projects and drive delivery Relevant construction qualifications, ideally including SMSTS and First Aid This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join an established contractor and take responsibility for the delivery of a varied portfolio of substantial construction projects.
