We are working with a well established London based contractor with a growing turnover to recruit a Junior Estimator to join their commercial team. The business delivers external works, public realm, landscaping, highways and civil engineering projects for both public and private sector clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a Senior Estimator in a new office in East Devon.
The role offers hands on exposure to live tenders and a clear pathway to progress into an Estimator and Senior Estimator position as the business continues to grow. The Junior Estimator will assist with tender preparation and pricing, review drawings, specifications and scopes of work, request and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations, maintain pricing and estimating records, and support the estimating team with bid submissions.
Criteria:
- The client is ideally seeking a candidate with 1 to 2 years experience within an estimating or construction environment, although motivated graduates will also be considered.
- You will be ambitious, eager to learn and keen to develop a long term career within a growing business.
