Civils Assistant Site Manager required to join leading civil engineering contractor on new build civils project in the Ashington area.
The Assistant Site Manager would come from a civil engineering background with previous experience in highways, roads, groundworks, RC works, earthworks, deep drainage, externals and heavy civils.
The Assistant Site Manager would preferably have relevant construction degree HNC or HND with SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
The Assistant Site Manager will be managing engineers, foreman, trades and subcontractors. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring delivery of project on time and budget
- Developing relationships with clients, consultants and site personnel
- Ensuring health and safety is enforced
- Ensuring all works are completed safely
