A little bit about us

We are a tech business that makes bills easier with a custom bills package and the option to split the bills with other bill payers. One payment means easier finances, less time on the phone to suppliers, and less admin. It’s a game changer for 49,000 happy customers and counting.

The B2C Sales Team

Our B2C Sales Team is core to our ambitious growth plans, and we are planning to add new advisors to the team monthly. The team is responsible for acquiring new customers and retaining those who currently have contracts with us. You will join one of our three sub-teams:

  • Notify Team: Informs new tenants, on behalf of our Notify clients, who their utility suppliers are and presents the OUB package offering. This team focuses on the rental market.
  • SSU (Self Sign Up) Team: Follows up on quotes created via the OUB website where they've identified they're moving home, created a quote but haven’t yet completed sign up.
  • Retentions: Reaches out to customers who are looking to cancel or have their contract up for renewal to retain them.

No matter the team, all advisors are confident in their ability to promote the benefits of OUB and close the deal.

What you’ll be doing

This is an outbound role, so you’ll spend a lot of the time on the phone speaking to potential and existing customers, representing OUB and our clients. Additionally, to be successful in this role, your admin and organisational skills need to be on point too, as you’ll have your own pipeline to manage, quotes to create and emails to send.

Depending on which sub-team you join, you may have slightly higher or lower KPIs due to the different lead sources, so we’ve used the average across the three to give you an idea of what success looks like:

  • 50 - 60 outbound calls per day
  • 3 hours of talk time per day
  • Sales closed/packages saved 2-3 per day

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Target Driven: You’re motivated to work towards ambitious targets and KPIs.
  • Resilient: You can bounce back from difficult days or challenging calls and not let it affect your motivation.
  • Coachable: You’re open to feedback from call coaching, training, and check-ins, and proactively act upon these to improve.
  • Organised: Your admin skills are on point for managing your pipeline, creating deals, and responding to emails.
  • Autonomous: You’re capable of carrying out tasks independently, managing your own workload, and maintaining a strong pipeline to achieve KPIs.

What you’ll get from us

As well as all of the great perks listed below, here’s what you can expect to gain financially from this role:

  • An annual salary of £27,976
  • Commission paid monthly when you hit your targets
  • £2000 per year in bonuses paid to the full company if we achieve our shared objectives
