We are looking for an experienced operational leader who excels in team management, operational strategy, and service improvement. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams are essential. A customer-first mindset is crucial, ensuring high service standards and an outstanding customer experience. This is a full-time, permanent position based in York, North Yorkshire.

Operations Manager key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing a small in-house team who are supporting a large team of self-employed contractors, ensuring service excellence.
  • Monitoring performance and quality, maintaining adherence to SLAs and business goals.
  • Strengthening relationships with contractors, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and career development.
  • Leading operational improvements by identifying areas for enhanced service delivery.
  • Working cross-functionally, collaborating with internal teams to align business objectives.
  • Providing coaching and structured feedback; fostering professional growth and accountability.
  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of key services.
  • Facilitating engagement programs, including conferences, forums, and webinars.
  • Leading recruitment and onboarding; securing the best talent for long-term success.
  • Managing compliance and claims resolution.
