One to One Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Paralegal to join an established Dispute Resolution Department in Southend-on-Sea. This role is ideal for a professional with post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation, although candidates with more experience will also be considered.

As part of the Litigation Team, you will play a key role in managing complex cases, supporting solicitors, and ensuring high-quality legal services for the clients. You will be expected to work proactively, contribute effectively to the team, and maintain a high standard of client care.

Key responsibilities:
  • Handling and managing caseloads with a high degree of autonomy
  • Assisting with legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing case strategies
  • Supporting solicitors in litigation proceedings and dispute resolution
  • Communicating effectively with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals
  • Ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
  • Providing administrative and legal support to the department
Key experience required:
  • Essential: Residential possession proceedings, Residential Landlord and Tenant disputes
  • Desirable: Contract disputes, Debt recovery, Land disputes (e.g., trespass, easements), Contentious probate, Employment law
