3PL Warehouse Manager Altrincham | up to £50,000 | Mon – Fri 8:30 – 17:30 Join our clients expanding business as a 3PL Warehouse Manager and lead the daily operations of our fast-paced warehouse. You’ll ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of goods while delivering top-tier service to clients. This leadership role offers the chance to shape processes, develop teams, and contribute to strategic growth. Key Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations: receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching. Maintain accurate inventory using CargoWise WMS; resolve discrepancies promptly. Allocate labour, equipment, and space to meet client demands. Oversee returns processing and quality control procedures. Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff; conduct performance reviews. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations in partnership with H&S Manager. Build strong client relationships; provide updates and resolve issues. Monitor KPIs and SLAs; implement improvements as needed. Lead onboarding for new clients and support operational integration. Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements. Collaborate with IT on tech upgrades and automation initiatives. What you’ll need Essential Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse/logistics, ideally in a 3PL setting. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficient in WMS (CargoWise preferred). Solid understanding of health & safety compliance. Demonstrated success in improving operations and meeting KPIs. Key Skills Effective people management and coaching. Strong planning and organisational abilities. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Resilient under pressure and deadline-driven. What’s in it for you?
