We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our clients team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe and welcoming outdoor spaces. You will be responsible for the upkeep of lawns, gardens, and outdoor facilities, ensuring they are always in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, strimming, weeding, and planting
- Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers)
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems
- Remove litter and debris from grounds and walkways
- Identify and report any hazards or maintenance issues
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, or planting
Requirements:
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical knowledge of landscaping tools and machinery
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
