What you'll be doing:
- Providing a high level of customer service
- Supporting customers throughout the claims process
- Handling and processing customer claims
- Responding to customer queries by telephone and email
- Liaising with insurance providers
- Handling complaints professionally and working towards positive resolutions
- Reviewing information and investigating claims where required
- Identifying and escalating potential fraud concerns
- Carrying out general administration
- Maintaining accurate customer and claims records
- Keeping customers updated throughout the process
- Taking ownership of queries and helping to resolve problems
- Working closely with colleagues as part of a supportive team

Previous experience within insurance claims handling is desirable but not essential. We'd also be keen to hear from candidates with transferable experience from roles such as: Customer Service Advisor, Customer Support Advisor, Contact Centre Advisor, Call Centre Advisor, Complaints Handler, Administrator, Retail Customer Service, Financial Services Customer Service.
If you're confident dealing with customers and have the right attitude, full training can be provided to help you develop your claims knowledge.
