The Role
You will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently to customers across the UK, ensuring exceptional customer service at every stage of the delivery process. This is a multi drop role involving approximately 6-10 deliveries per day, depending on location and load size. The position includes a significant amount of city driving and early morning starts. Occasionally, overnight stays may be required, for which a night out allowance is provided. As a key representative of the business, you will be friendly, professional, and committed to delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate and timely customer deliveries.
- Load, secure and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all loads are correctly secured for transportation.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to meet schedules.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and transport regulations.
- Maintain delivery records and relevant transport documentation.
- Attend training sessions as required.
- Communicate effectively with transport planners and colleagues.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
About You
- HGV Class 2 Licence (or higher)
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Moffett Licence (highly desirable)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities
- Multi-drop delivery experience (preferred but not essential)
- A professional and positive approach to work
