Southend-on-Sea on a temporary basis until the end of September.

This is a hands on cleaning role, ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and is comfortable working in a busy public environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain public toilet facilities to a high standard.
  • Clean toilets, urinals, sinks, floors and other surfaces.
  • Replenish toilet rolls, hand soap, paper towels and other supplies.
  • Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
  • Carry out regular checks to ensure facilities remain clean, tidy and presentable.
  • Respond promptly to spills, mess and other cleaning requirements.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines.
  • Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly.
  • Report any damage, maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach around members of the public.
  • Keep cleaning equipment and supplies stored safely.
  • Work independently and manage cleaning duties efficiently throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
