Our client is a fast growing international business within the network infrastructure sector. They are seeking a Sales Account Manager to develop existing accounts and generate new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual with an interest in technical infrastructure to join a growing and collaborative team. Full training on products and services will be offered to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
  • Develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Manage quotations, tenders and project responses
  • Ensure customer commitments are met regarding quality, delivery and cost
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service and communication
  • Support trade shows, industry events and networking activities
  • Contribute to sales growth and margin performance
  • Work closely with internal technical and engineering teams
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and customer information
  • Participate in regular sales and project meetings
Skills & Experience Required
  • Previous experience within Account Management, Technical Sales or Business Development
  • Experience within Fibre Optics, or similar technical industries preferred but not essential
  • Strong customer relationship and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Additional Information
  • Some travel may be required for customer meetings.
  • Commission starts after completion of 6 months training.
