This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing customer orders, coordinating deliveries and building strong relationships with major retail customers.

What We're Looking For – Essential Experience

  • 2–3 years' experience in customer service, sales administration or operations within the fashion, apparel, wholesale or retail industry.
  • Experience working with major UK retailers, ideally including Next, Debenhams, JD Sports or similar high-profile retail accounts.
  • Experience managing customer orders, including order processing, order confirmations, stock allocation and delivery coordination.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn ERP systems quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience within a fashion wholesale or branded consumer goods environment would be particularly advantageous.

The Role

As Customer Service & Operations Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth processing and delivery of customer orders, working closely with retail customers, factories, warehouses, logistics providers and internal sales teams.

  • Managing customer sales orders from initial processing through to final delivery.
  • Preparing and issuing sales order confirmations and resolving customer order queries.
  • Uploading and maintaining product styles, sales orders and customer information within the ERP system.
  • Liaising with logistics teams, warehouses and factories to coordinate shipments and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitoring delivery schedules, proactively communicating updates and resolving delays.
  • Processing stock into inventory, allocating orders and raising picking tickets and invoices.
  • Managing customer order books, booking forms, retailer portals and delivery requirements.
  • Providing factories with barcodes, packing instructions and relevant order information.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records, order information and seasonal reports.
  • Liaising with finance and credit control teams to resolve order and invoice queries.
  • Supporting the sales and operations teams with administrative and operational tasks.

About You

  • We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware and solutions-focused, with a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple deadlines, confident communicating with customers and internal departments, and able to take ownership of your workload.
  • Most importantly, you’ll bring a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.

What’s in It for You?

  • Up To £35,000 per annum (depending on qualifications & experience)
  • 25 days of annual leave + bank holidays
  • Additional days holiday between Christmas and New Year if the Directors decide to close the business
  • Standard working hours 8:30am to 5:30pm - 30 min lunch = 40 hours a week
  • 1-day WFH after probation and training at the company’s sole discretion (non-contractual)
  • Workplace Pension Scheme
  • 60% Discount on our products that we have on Ecommerce
  • Sample sales 2+ times a year
  • Short Leave – with pre-approval from Line Manager to take up to 2 hours off without deduction from holiday allowance
  • Statutory sick pay
  • Annual pay review and/or bonus at the Directors discretion

Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established business representing well-known global fashion and lifestyle brands, where you'll gain exposure to major retail accounts and play an important role in supporting the company's day-to-day operations.

If you have relevant fashion, wholesale or retail operations experience and are looking for your next career opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
