As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a proactive, organised and detail-focused Case Manager to become a valued member of the team. This is a key support role, working closely with clients and advisers to ensure both mortgage and protection cases progress smoothly from application through to completion. You’ll look after applications for both residential and buy-to-let mortgages, as well as life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection, giving you a real variety of cases to get involved in.

To Be Considered, You Must Have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in mortgage administration, mortgage case management or a similar financial services support role
  • A strong understanding of the end-to-end mortgage process
  • Previous experience managing protection cases
  • A strong understanding of FCA compliance
  • A minimum of 3 years UK based relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting advisers across the full mortgage and protection case lifecycle
  • Requesting and reviewing documentation from clients to support applications
  • Running ID checks and helping advisers with affordability checking
  • Processing decisions in principle (DIPs) and submitting mortgage and protection applications accurately and efficiently across a wide range of lenders and insurers
  • Liaising with clients, lenders, insurers, solicitors and estate agents to progress cases and provide updates where appropriate
  • Tracking mortgage cases through to offer, then proactively helping advisers secure lower rates if they become available
  • Tracking protection cases through underwriting, chasing outstanding requirements from clients and insurers
  • Ensuring acceptance terms and mortgage offers are received promptly and checked for accuracy against original applications and illustrations
  • Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls confidently and professionally
  • Maintaining and updating our back office and task management systems accurately at every stage
  • Ensuring all documentation and case notes are compliant and filed correctly and timely in line with FCA requirements
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment

Must Have Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in mortgage administration, mortgage case management, or a related financial services administration role
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end mortgage process and lender requirements
  • Experience handling protection cases across life, critical illness and income protection products
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with excellent written communication
