My client, a growing independent financial planning firm based in Rayleigh, is looking to recruit an experienced Mortgage Case Administrator to join their friendly and supportive paraplanning team. The Role
As a Mortgage Case Administrator, you’ll play an integral part in supporting advisers and paraplanners, ensuring client cases are progressed efficiently and accurately from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
- Supporting advisers and paraplanners with the delivery of financial planning services
- Issuing, chasing and summarising Letters of Authority (LOAs)
- Liaising with providers regarding LOAs and new business submissions
- Processing new business accurately and efficiently across several platforms, including placing trades, running reports and producing illustrations
- Maintaining accurate client records and updating back-office systems
- Monitoring cases to ensure timely progression and clear communication with providers and clients
- Providing administrative support across the wider team
- Contributing ideas to improve processes and workflows
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience (ideally 2+ years) as a Financial Services Administrator within financial planning, wealth management or independent financial advice
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive, dependable approach with the ability to take ownership of your workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An ambition to progress into paraplanning in the future
- An interest in developing a long-term career within financial services
Desirable
