We are excited to be working alongside our client who has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join them at their brand-new Luton store.
Looking for an experienced retail manager with a flair for motivating and leading colleagues to give customers the best possible shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
- Maintaining budgets and staff rotas
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Managing store stockrooms, ensuring effective replenishment and stock control
- Ensure the store’s visual presentations and merchandising meets company standards.
- Liaising with peers and Head Office departments
- Ensuring that store housekeeping standards are continually maintained.
The role will be working 39 hours over 5 days per week, with the following shift pattern:
- Monday 8.00am to 4.30pm
- Tuesday 8.00am to 6.00pm
- Wednesday Day Off
- Thursday 12.00pm to 7.00pm
- Friday 12.00pm – 6.00pm
- Saturday 8.00am – 6.00pm
- Sunday Day Off
Starting Salary £37,000 per annum. Plus the potential for a monthly performance related bonus. Employees also benefit from a company life assurance scheme and generous staff discount.
