We are excited to be working alongside our client who has an exciting opportunity for a General Manager to join them at their brand-new Luton store.

Looking for an experienced retail manager with a flair for motivating and leading colleagues to give customers the best possible shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
  2. Maintaining budgets and staff rotas
  3. Dealing with customer queries and complaints
  4. Managing store stockrooms, ensuring effective replenishment and stock control
  5. Ensure the store’s visual presentations and merchandising meets company standards.
  6. Liaising with peers and Head Office departments
  7. Ensuring that store housekeeping standards are continually maintained.

The role will be working 39 hours over 5 days per week, with the following shift pattern:

  1. Monday 8.00am to 4.30pm
  2. Tuesday 8.00am to 6.00pm
  3. Wednesday Day Off
  4. Thursday 12.00pm to 7.00pm
  5. Friday 12.00pm – 6.00pm
  6. Saturday 8.00am – 6.00pm
  7. Sunday Day Off

Starting Salary £37,000 per annum. Plus the potential for a monthly performance related bonus. Employees also benefit from a company life assurance scheme and generous staff discount.
