Overview: The Investor Relations role at this well run and established credit hedge fund has a strong operational and investor servicing focus. The position is responsible for the day-to-day management of investor-related processes, data, and communications, ensuring a high standard of accuracy, responsiveness, and regulatory compliance. The fund is not actively marketed, and investor relationships are conducted on a reverse solicitation basis. As such, the role does not involve capital raising, but instead focuses on supporting existing investors, managing investor data and capital activity, and coordinating due diligence and governance-related processes.
About the Role: Core responsibilities include serving as a key investor contact point, coordinating investor requirements between the fund, the fund administrator, and internal stakeholders, including close interaction with the CIO, Investment, Middle Office, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams.
Qualifications: Our client is ideally looking for talent who have demonstrable experience in an Investor Relations role within a hedge fund or similar alternative investment environment. Ideally, the individual has hands-on experience managing investor registers and capital activity, with a solid understanding of investor fee structures and calculations. If you have a background in fund accounting or legal and are looking to make a move into Investor Relations, you may be considered for this role. Alternatively, if you had that background and moved into IR, then this role could be ideal.
Opportunity: A great opportunity to work in an environment where the IR role is very much the central focus for every aspect of the fund from the COO to the Investment Teams to the GC.
