We have a very unique role which would suit an early riser. Our client is looking for an office administrator to work closely with HR, IT Service Desk and senior management. In this role you will be responsible for keeping the office running smoothly at all times. The hours are 4am to 1pm each day, Monday to Friday onsite.
This is a split role, with responsibility in the first four hours of each working day for overseeing all early-morning food deliveries. You will ensure deliveries are received, checked, and stocked appropriately, and that the office is fully prepared for the day ahead. This includes setting up coffee machines, preparing areas, and ensuring all facilities and supplies are ready and well maintained.
From 8am onwards you will be working with the rest of the team of administrators, where duties will include:
- Greeting visitors and co-ordinating in person or VC meetings
- Liaising with multiple external suppliers and building management
- Ensuring meeting rooms are stocked and tidy
- Processing inbound and outbound mail and arranging couriers
- Using workday to submit office expenses
- Office space planning for new joiners and overseas visitors
- Managing multiple internal systems and processes
- Ensuring health and safety standards are up to date
- Negotiating with external vendors
- Pro-actively supporting the Office Manager with projects
They require a person who is confident in their own abilities, who is able to juggle multiple requests at any one time. You will have strong communication skills, as well as being personable, friendly and approachable. Up to 3 years’ experience within a similar role, along with a strong proficiency in MS Office. Experience of working within the finance industry would be an advantage.
The role is paying between £40 - £50K depending on experience. Due to the early start of this position your transport to the office each day will be organised by the client.
