We are currently recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of our client, a highly regarded Professional Services firm experiencing strong and sustained growth. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a fully qualified accountant with a background in the Financial Services industry, looking to step into a strategic role within an established yet dynamic business. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the firm’s financial strategy, working closely with the Senior Management Team to support commercial decision-making and drive business performance. You will be responsible for providing high-quality financial insight, constructively challenging assumptions, and influencing decisions at a senior level. This is a highly visible role within a successful and collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the financial strategy aligned to business objectives
- Provide commercial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Evaluate growth opportunities and financial performance
- Support and influence key business decisions with robust analysis
- Contribute to M&A activity where applicable, including opportunity evaluation and deal strategy
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience within the Financial Services sector
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically and analytically
- Confident communicator, comfortable influencing, negotiating and challenging constructively
- Highly detail-oriented, results-focused and proactive
