About the role
We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.
You will be responsible for:
- Serving customers with passion and pride, providing natural service.
- Encouraging customer feedback through surveys.
- Working across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
- Practicing safety in all tasks.
- Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events.
- Understanding store performance and contributing to profit.
- Living our values and following policies.
- Clocking in and out accurately.
- Following security procedures and safety equipment protocols.
- Following the think 25 policy for age-restricted products.
- Responding to assistance calls and customer explanations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Potentially managing shifts in the absence of supervisors.
- Completing all relevant training to ensure safety and legality.
- If applicable, managing Post Office operations and passing background checks.
