A job where you are in the driving seat! As the face of One Stop out on the road, our HGV drivers meet and talk to colleagues at stores. This role is more than driving: it’s about helping others and delivering great service with a smile. Shifts vary, you’ll feel like your own boss on the road delivering to stores, with a team at the distribution centre ready to support you when needed. You’ll meet great people, learn new things, and be part of a diverse team where everyone is welcome. Whether you want stability or flexibility, or the opportunity to progress your career, this can be the role for you.
Responsibilities
- Professionally representing the One Stop brand whilst on UK roads
- Ensuring products reach stores on time and in good condition
- Working out on the road and collaborating with colleagues, representing One Stop to everyone you meet
- Driving safely, responsibly and within the law
- Collecting as well as delivering, supporting the distribution centre by moving trailers and keeping vehicles fuelled
Requirements
- Passionate about delivering great customer service
- Friendly, approachable and reliable
- Able to adhere to Working Time Directive (WTD) and EU Drivers Hours
- Full HGV 2 (Category C) EU license with no more than six penalty points, valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Driver Card
- Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience required
