In this role, you will support pharmacy operations through medication preparation, inventory management, documentation, and administrative support while working closely with pharmacists and healthcare staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with ordering, stocking, storing, and dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications
- Prepare unit-dose and pre-packaged medications in accordance with pharmacy procedures
- Monitor medication inventory, expiration dates, and supply levels to ensure compliance and availability
- Maintain narcotics counts, inventory records, and pharmacy documentation
- Support quality assurance initiatives and pharmacy performance improvement activities
- Utilize electronic medical record systems and pharmacy software for documentation and scheduling
- Perform clerical duties including filing, scanning, record maintenance, and patient scheduling support
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and infection control standards within pharmacy areas
Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician Training Program required
- Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience required
- Current CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication handling, and inventory control procedures
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
