New Normal Posted 6 days ago Apply Now Ads Position Summary: USL is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Assistant to join its growing team. This role will play a key part in supporting sales and marketing activities, including social media management, website updates, event coordination, and general sales support. The ideal candidate will be creative, organized, and proactive, with a passion for marketing and an interest in technical products. Prior experience in a technical or manufacturing environment is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Develop, curate, and manage engaging content across social media platforms. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities. Respond to inquiries and actively engage with followers. Website Management: Update the company website (WordPress) with news, product updates, and relevant content. Ensure website information is accurate, current, and engaging. Marketing: Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and newsletters. Coordinate production and ordering of promotional items and supplies. Arrange for production of publicity materials, advertisements, newsletters, and press releases. Sales Expo and Convention Support: Assist in planning and organizing expos, conventions, and other sales events. Manage event paperwork, registrations, and logistics. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for attending team members. Ensure timely delivery of promotional materials and supplies to event venues. Support the sales team with lead generation, customer follow-ups, and inquiries. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. Prepare sales reports and presentations as required. Qualifications: 1–2 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of social media platforms and website management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing software. Basic knowledge of NDT technology or automation is a plus. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities. Creativity and innovative thinking. Global travel to industry shows and meetings with international agents/customers. Paid time off and holidays.
