The Rope Access NDT Technician will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) activities across various onshore and offshore assets while working via rope access methods. This ad-hoc role requires an IRATA-qualified technician with strong technical competence in ultrasonic testing (UT) and additional NDT methods. The technician will support inspection and maintenance operations across multiple industrial sectors, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality testing.
Duties include executing NDT inspections at height or difficult-access locations, adhering to industry standards, and maintaining all required offshore and safety certifications.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- PCN / CSWIP Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (minimum UT 3.1 & 3.2)
- IRATA certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Offshore Survival Certification (BOSIET/FOET)
- UKOOA Medical
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- PCN / CSWIP Level 2 Radiographic Testing
- Pulsed Eddy Current experience
- UT 3.7, 3.8, 3.9
- Computed / Digital Radiography experience
