Array Training is seeking an experienced and passionate NDT Trainer to join its dynamic team in Daresbury, England. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) training and support examination services across a range of methods. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for professionals who are enthusiastic about knowledge sharing, technical excellence, and continuous development.
The NDT Trainer will work closely with the Regional NDT Manager and Training Manager to ensure the seamless delivery of training programs and maintain the integrity of Array Training's approved training standards.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver NDT training courses in accordance with company and certification body standards.
- Support the setup and maintenance of training rooms, practical training areas, and equipment.
- Provide guidance to students and support examination processes where required.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of training materials and instructional techniques.
- Ensure all training activities meet regulatory, technical, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate training records and assist with audits and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain high training standards and learner satisfaction.
- Travel within the UK and internationally to support training delivery and development.
- PCN Level 2 or Level 3 certification in one or more NDT methods (required).
- Minimum of one year of industrial experience in NDT.
- Background in the energy sector is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to instruct and engage learners effectively.
- Passion for teaching and developing others.
- High level of technical proficiency in NDT.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
