The API Multi-Certified Inspector is responsible for performing inspections in accordance with current API standards and recommendations. The role involves conducting internal and external inspections, interpreting technical documentation, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and maintaining strong client relationships. The inspector is expected to demonstrate technical expertise in damage mechanisms, NDE processes, and industry codes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform API 510/570 internal and external inspections as per customer scope of work
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, facilities, and customers
- Interpret ITPs, equipment drawings, client specifications, codes, and industry standards
- Ensure adherence to all site and company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Current API 510/936 certification
- Minimum 3 years of work experience related to API 510/936
- Strong knowledge of damage mechanisms
- Familiarity with current API codes
- Knowledge of NDE processes for inspection and repair
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in report writing and making recommendations

- API 570
- API 653
- API 936
- AWS CWI
Requirements:
- Current TWIC Card
- Ability to pass DISA background check and drug screening (hair follicle)
- Ability to pass a FIT test and perform inspections under supplied air
