We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Radiographer to join our Imaging team based in Hemel Hempstead. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus benefits.

About the role

The post‑holder will undertake all clinical work in the Imaging Department. They will be able to demonstrate specialised knowledge and expertise and support the Imaging Lead. To deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service. To participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols. Producing high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care. The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC registered
  • Excellent understanding of the role of a Radiographer and Imaging services.
