Open Doors is a Christian charity that is looking to recruit active, practicing Christians to stand in the GAP (give, act, pray) on behalf of persecuted Christians worldwide. Every day, millions of Christians risk their lives to follow Jesus. In more than 70 countries, Open Doors supports them by supplying Bibles, providing emergency relief and helping persecuted believers stand strong for the long-term.
As our Donations Administrator, you will play an important role in ensuring that the gifts entrusted to Open Doors are processed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with financial and regulatory requirements. Working within the Supporter Services team, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining supporter records
- Processing donations, Direct Debits and Standing Orders
- Administering Gift Aid
- Supporting daily banking activities
Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help ensure that every gift is handled with care and good stewardship. Working closely with colleagues across Supporter Services and Finance, you will provide a timely and professional service to supporters, responding to enquiries and helping to deliver an excellent supporter experience.
You will contribute to the effective management of supporter data, uphold GDPR and HMRC requirements, and support the ongoing development of systems and processes that enable Open Doors to serve its supporters well. This is an opportunity to combine strong administrative skills with a passion for serving the persecuted church through practical, behind-the-scenes support. You will have the opportunity to use your God-given character and talents to contribute to the work of Open Doors and to work with integrity and with purpose.
