We are a small evangelical Christian fellowship in beautiful West Cornwall, with a vision to bring people into the light of God’s Word, share the truth about Jesus Christ, and lead people into a living and deepening relationship with Him. God has given us a wealth of gifts and experience within our membership, and we have been sustained in our faith and fellowship with the help of visiting preachers.
We feel, however, that we lack consistent, godly leadership from an evangelical minister with theological training who is committed to teaching God’s Word, helping us grow in faith and knowledge of the Gospel, and equipping and leading us to reach the local community with its truth. As a small church, our resources are currently limited. While we would like to appoint a full‑time pastor, we are open to all options, trusting that God has His plans for us and will provide for whatever He calls us to do.
Is God calling you to accept the challenge of working with us on a vision for our future? Are you able to consider a partly self‑supporting role? Are there other options we might explore together? If so, please contact us for more details and for a conversation with the trustees.
Without the resources to sponsor overseas visa applications, we can consider applications only from within the UK. Please get in touch with the Church Secretary, Carol Neves: Hopestives.secretary@gmail.com
