We're looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraising professional to lead the growth of high-value philanthropy, building meaningful relationships with individuals capable of making five-figure gifts and developing a sustainable pipeline of long-term supporters.
Managing a Philanthropy Officer, the successful candidate will play a key role in growing philanthropic income through the development of strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective major donors.
The role is ideally suited to a relationship-focused fundraiser who enjoys building meaningful partnerships and securing transformational support that drives lasting change.
The Role
You will
- Develop and manage a mixed portfolio of approximately 100 major donor prospects and supporters.
- Identify, research and cultivate new high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic opportunities.
- Build strong, long-term relationships through personalised stewardship and engagement.
- Create bespoke cultivation plans based on donor interests, motivations and giving potential.
- Work with senior leadership and trustees to expand philanthropic networks and unlock new opportunities.
- Secure and steward five-figure gifts and contribute significantly to organisational income targets.
- Prepare compelling proposals, impact reports and donor communications.
- Develop creative donor engagement opportunities, including events, briefings and exclusive experiences.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide insightful reporting and analysis. Champion best-practice fundraising, compliance and ethical standard
