MissionAssist is a charity that helps mission workers around the world by providing services and resources without charge. Dedicated volunteers serve from their own homes, mostly in the UK but increasingly in other countries too. They offer their time and skills through many areas of service, including the Bible Digitisation Project and provision of the EasyEnglish Bible. In doing so, MissionAssist members are making a real difference as they support those involved in Bible translation and widening access to Scripture worldwide.
MissionAssist trustees provide governance, oversight and long‑term stewardship of the charity. They help ensure that MissionAssist remains faithful to its purpose, vision and values, while continuing to serve others effectively across the globe. Trustees meet four times per year, typically three online and one hybrid meeting, with remote participation available. Trustees may claim reasonable expenses for costs relating to their role.
We are open to enquiries from people who are resident in the UK and who have the commitment and capacity to serve alongside the existing trustees. We warmly welcome enquiries and applications from people of all backgrounds who share our core values and are supportive of our Christian mission.
If you can bring any of the following to the role, please let us know:
- Experience as a trustee in a comparable organisation.
