Carnforth Free Methodist Church is a vibrant tapestry of ordinary people whom God has gathered from across the beautiful region of North Lancashire, North Yorkshire, and South Cumbria. Our congregation of over 200 people represents more than 13 nations and spans multiple generations. We are seeking to recruit a full-time Assistant/Associate Pastor who will work alongside the Senior Pastor, the leadership team, and the congregation to help fulfil our vision: to see lives and communities transformed by God’s amazing love. This is expressed through growing as disciples of Jesus and helping others grow to become disciples too.

Responsibilities:

  • Preaching and leading services
  • Providing pastoral care
  • Overseeing and developing the church’s outreach ministries within the local community
  • Overseeing and developing the children’s and youth ministries

The successful applicant will receive a salary in line with the recommendations of the FMCUK Annual Conference and dependent on experience (£32,360–£38,389). All applications are subject to DBS clearance, right to work in the UK, and full agreement with the theological and ecclesiological positions of the UK Free Methodist Church.
