Position: Part Time (30 hours per week)

Salary: Pro Rata at 0.8 of Β£45,000 per annum.

Location: Hybrid, although Bath based with travel as required.

Role

To provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and organisational management across both GET Sported & World Sport Ministries. This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day operations, supporting ministry growth, strengthening organisational systems, and enabling teams to deliver high-impact programs that advance our mission.

You will work closely with executive leadership, ministry leaders, staff, volunteers, and key stakeholders to develop scalable systems, foster organisational effectiveness, and support the long-term sustainability and growth of both components of the ministry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership, Growth & Stakeholder Development

  • 1. Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement organisational strategies aligned with the vision and mission of GET Sported and World Sport Ministries.
  • 2. Translate strategic priorities into operational plans, objectives, and measurableoutcomes, contributing to the development of new initiatives, partnerships, andministry opportunities.
  • 3. Identify and lead opportunities and innovation that drive the growth andsustainability of GET Sported, including the expansion of services, partnerships, and market reach, achieving mission impact plus sales and revenue growth targets within GET Sported.
  • 4. Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, sports organisations, churches, community groups, governing bodies, funders, sponsors, and strategic partners that increase awareness, participation, customer retention, and long-term partnership opportunities.
  • 5. Represent GET Sported and World Sport Ministries at networking events, conferences, meetings, and partnership opportunities to enhance organisational visibility and growth.
  • 6.Monitor sales performance, stakeholder engagement metrics, and growth objectives, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior leadership.

Operations & Administration

  • 1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of both ministry components, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with organisational objectives.
  • 2. Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, procedures, and systems.
  • 3. Lead operational planning and risk management initiatives to support sustainable growth.

Program Delivery & Excellence

  • 1. Provide operational oversight for ministry initiatives, collaborating with other leaders to ensure programs are delivered effectively, on schedule, and within established objectives.
  • 2. Develop systems and processes that enhance program quality, consistency, impact and alignment with missional values and strategic priorities.
  • 3. Monitor program performance and support continuous improvement efforts.

Staff & Ministry Leadership

  • 1. Lead, mentor, and develop staff and volunteer leaders, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, accountability, and spiritual maturity, reflecting the values and mission of GET Sported / World Sport Ministries.
  • 2. Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
  • 3. Facilitate effective communication and coordination across teams and ministries, building leadership capacity throughout the organisation by coaching and developing emerging leaders.

Cross-Organisational Collaboration

  • 1. Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to organisational decision-making and ministry direction.
  • 2. Strengthen communication and collaboration between GET Sported and World Sport Ministries.
  • 3. Build and maintain positive relationships with ministry partners, churches, supporters, and other stakeholders, representing the organisation professionally in meetings, events, and strategic partnerships as required.
