As an UI/UX designer, you will help us bring our sustainability app to life. Your designs and user flows will support those looking to do life sustainably and the impact will be significant and measurable.
What difference will you make?
The designs and user flows you create will be fundamental components of our free sustainability app, allowing us market to government departments, local authorities, NHS trusts, corporate sustainability teams, sports teams and any community wanting to make an impact.
What are we looking for?
At least 3 years’ experience in UI/UX design, ideally in mobile applications or SaaS. Strong skills in Figma, including design systems and components. A solid portfolio that demonstrates user-centred design thinking. Experience with prototyping and usability testing. Proficiency in English A good understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design
What will you be doing?
You will design exciting figma designs and user journeys of the final and important mobile app modules of our free sustainability app as we move towards launch. You will be supported by a small team of UI/UX professionals, a product manager, and a project manager. Post launch, you will be able to contribute to our website design and social media content. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to explore and communicate ideas. Work with product managers and developers to ensure a smooth user experience. Run usability tests and gather feedback to refine designs. Ensure accessibility best practices (WCAG compliance) are followed. Design clean, visually appealing user interfaces using Figma. Develop and maintain design systems and reusable components. Ensure consistency in branding and visual style across products. Create responsive designs for both web and mobile applications. Improve the look and feel of existing products based on user feedback and business needs. Work closely with developers to ensure your designs translate well into code. Present your work to the team, explaining design decisions clearly. Participate in design sprints and contribute to discussions on product improvements. Keep design files organised and up to date in Figma/ Notion.
