We're recruiting an experienced Caf Manager who is passionate about exceptional food, outstanding customer service, and creating a positive impact within the community.
\n
Based at the Change Please Caf at Musgrove Park Hospital, you'll play a key role in leading a team that delivers excellent food and service while supporting a social enterprise dedicated to helping people overcome homelessness through employment opportunities and training.
\n
As Caf Manager, you'll have the personality, leadership skills, and operational expertise to influence the day-to-day running of the caf , ensuring an outstanding experience for every customer while developing and motivating your team to achieve their full potential.

What You'll Be Doing

- Preparing and serving high-quality food and beverages to the highest standards.
- Managing caf operations to ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing team.
- Monitoring business performance, budgets, and financial controls.
- Completing weekly business returns and implementing action plans where required.
- Regularly reviewing KPIs and operational targets with your line manager.
- Ensuring the caf is presented to the highest standards at all times.
- Supporting the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
- Maintaining full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
- Promoting the values and mission of Change Please through excellent customer engagement and service delivery.
- Leading from the front and creating a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

What We're Looking For
\n
Our ideal Caf Manager will:
\n

- Have previous management experience within a caf , hospitality, retail, or catering environment.
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrate strong financial awareness and commercial acumen.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Have experience leading and developing teams.
- Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Be proactive, enthusiastic, and solutions-focused.
