You will lead and develop a highly skilled security workforce, ensuring a safe, secure, and supportive hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Healthcare Security Supervisors and Officers
  • Liaise confidently with clients, police, and multiple stakeholders
  • Support incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews
  • Manage rotas, payroll, appraisals, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to NHS, CQC, SIA, and relevant legislative requirements
  • Support clinical teams with de-escalation and, where necessary, patient restraint
  • Oversee CCTV operations
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment across hospital grounds

You will be:

  • Experienced in a Healthcare Environment
  • Passionate about patient, staff, and visitor safety
  • A confident leader in high-pressure healthcare environments
  • Skilled in communication, empathy, and verbal de-escalation
