We are looking for a hands-on, commercially sharp photographer to take ownership of product imagery across our growing portfolio of brands. This is not just about taking great photos; it is about understanding what drives conversion, builds trust, and elevates brand perception across marketplaces and D2C channels. Working closely with the Head of Design, you will plan and execute photography that performs across Amazon, Shopify, and wider campaign channels. You will play a key role in shaping how our products are presented to customers, ensuring every image is purposeful, consistent, and commercially effective. This is a role for someone who enjoys being in the detail. You will be actively shooting, styling, refining, and improving outputs every day. You will also help bring structure to how we shoot at scale, building repeatable processes that allow us to produce high quality imagery efficiently as the business grows. We move quickly, and this role requires someone who can keep pace while maintaining a high bar for quality. You should be confident taking ownership of shoots end to end, while also contributing ideas that push our creative forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Photography Execution & Delivery
    • Own the delivery of high quality product photography across eCommerce and marketplace channels.
    • Produce consistent packshot imagery at scale, maintaining accuracy in lighting, colour, and composition.
    • Ensure all imagery is optimised for conversion across Amazon and D2C platforms.
  • Lifestyle & Campaign Shoots
    • Plan and execute lifestyle and in situ photography using props, styling, and set building.
    • Deliver campaign and hero imagery that brings creative concepts to life.
    • Balance creativity with commercial intent, ensuring outputs are both engaging and effective.
  • Shoot Planning & Collaboration
    • Work closely with the Head of Design to interpret briefs and develop shot lists.
    • Contribute ideas to improve the visual direction and overall brand presentation.
    • Collaborate with designers and wider teams to ensure alignment across all outputs.
  • Studio Management & Workflow Optimisation
    • Manage the in house studio setup, including lighting, equipment, and shooting environment.
    • Build efficient and repeatable workflows to support high volume output.
    • Maintain organisation across shoots, assets, and equipment.
  • Post Production & Image Preparation
    • Carry out basic retouching and image clean up to prepare assets for design and marketing use.
    • Ensure files are delivered in the correct formats, on time, and ready for deployment.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3 to 6 plus years of commercial photography experience, ideally within eCommerce or product focused businesses.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating product, lifestyle, and campaign photography.
  • Deep understanding of lighting techniques, particularly for products and interior environments.
  • Experience creating imagery for Amazon or similar high volume eCommerce platforms.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work at pace.
  • Comfortable working from briefs while also contributing creative input.
  • Hands on and proactive, willing to take full ownership of shoots and outputs.
  • Basic retouching skills with a good eye for final image quality.
  • Commercially aware, understands how imagery impacts conversion and customer perception.
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond to deliver high standards.
