One Property Recruitment is delighted to be working with a reputable and growing South Coast–based property firm, with this opportunity specifically based from their Portsmouth office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Block Manager to join a close-knit and collaborative team, managing a well-maintained residential leasehold portfolio. You will have full ownership of your sites, supported by experienced colleagues and established internal teams. The company promotes a team-focused culture that values professionalism, problem-solving, and clear communication, offering a stable and friendly working environment with strong long-term prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a residential leasehold block portfolio across Portsmouth and surrounding areas
  • Act as the main point of contact for leaseholders, freeholders, and contractors
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety compliance, and service charge budgets
  • Conduct regular site inspections, attend and chair AGMs, and manage day-to-day property matters
  • Work closely with accounts, admin support, and senior leadership to ensure high service delivery

About You

  • Proven experience as a Block Manager within residential leasehold property
  • Strong understanding of service charge budgets, compliance, and leasehold legislation
  • TPI qualified or working towards is desirable but not essential
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage relationships and resolve issues effectively
  • Well organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a portfolio independently
  • Based within commutable distance of Portsmouth
