Join Our Client\’s Team as a Transport Supervisor! Position: Transport Supervisor Location: Louth Salary: £32,000 Shift: Monday – Friday 12:00 – 21:00 About: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Supervisor to join the team in Louth. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing transport plans and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met. This role involves developing efficient routes, maximising vehicle capacity, and ensuring compliance with transport legislation, health and safety, and customer service requirements. Key Duties: Ensure Site Planners plan all relevant customer deliveries using site software to meet delivery windows. Liaise with customers regarding delays and potential delivery issues. Coordinate late load reports according to operational requirements and deadlines. Ensure drivers comply with the Working Time Directive and regularly download driver cards for analysis. Ensure Site Planners comply with all transport legislation, minimising tachograph infringements and adhering to WTD regulations. Communicate routes to and liaise with other depots. Source local agency drivers and sub-contractors as required, providing accurate job briefs. Manage Site Planners to ensure efficient start times and adequate driver briefings. Understand and communicate agreed KPIs for the department. Handle all other transport office-related duties and ensure all drivers are trained and familiar with operations and equipment. Requirements: Proven people management skills. Experience in a busy transport office. Knowledge of Driver\’s Hours, Tachograph, and WTD legislation. Understanding of Continuous Improvement. IT literate with knowledge of transport systems. Ability to prioritise and work well under pressure. Team player with good communication skills.
