Location: Grainthorpe, Lincolnshire
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week. 08:30 to 16:30 and alternative Saturdays.
About Our Client:
Our client is a well-established, family-run independent car dealership based in Lincolnshire, known for offering a personalised and hassle-free car-buying experience. As one of Lincolnshire’s highest-rated car dealers, they specialise in sourcing any make and model of car or light commercial vehicle. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experienced Car Mechanic to join their dedicated team.
Key Duties:
- Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and software.
- Perform MOT preparation and testing (if qualified).
- Work efficiently to complete tasks within set timeframes while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical advice when needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Car Mechanic.
- Proven experience working in a garage, dealership, or independent workshop.
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 or higher in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
