The Opportunity
Divisional Manager - Retail (Scotland)
An exciting opportunity to lead around 25-30 convenience stores across Glasgow and the West, as part of a major growth phase for One O One Retail.
The Role
We are introducing a new operating model and we're looking for a dynamic, commercially-minded leader to drive performance, develop great people, and deliver operational excellence across their division.
You will
· Lead, coach, and develop stores to deliver great service, colleague engagement, and operational excellence.
· Drive profitable growth across your Division through delivery of KPIs and strong local market performance.
· Own P&L performance, controlling costs, waste, shrink, and wages.
· Implement and embed change initiatives, new processes, and promotional campaigns right-first time and on time.
· Raise standards in customer service, compliance, and brand execution.
· Champion our One O One values and Leading One O One behaviours, setting high expectations for your leadership team.
· Use insight, data, and competitor analysis to inform commercial decisions.
· Build strong cross-functional partnerships across Commercial, HR, Loss Prevention, Risk, Property.
· Be regionally mobile, including weekend cover on a rota basis.
About you
You’ll be an adaptable, energetic leader with the ability to execute plans at pace and to a high standard. You’ll combine operational expertise with commercial awareness and a strong track record of delivering results.
· Proven multi-site retail leadership (Area/Regional/Divisional), ideally in convenience or supermarkets.
· Strong record of turning around underperformance and driving sales growth.
· Commercial acumen – confident with P&L, resource planning, and KPI analysis.
· Exceptional coaching, communication, and change leadership skills
· Resilience, pace, and adaptability to succeed in a competitive market.
