We are a leading One-Stop Distributor of physical vinyl records, offering a wide range of genres and formats. Based in North London, we supply finished vinyl records to UK and international shops, distributors, and wholesalers.
Role Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Vinyl Record Sales Person to join our dynamic team. The candidate MUST have a background in the vinyl record industry, ideally having worked in a record shop or as part of a record distributor team. You will have an in-depth understanding of major and independent record labels, catalogue numbers, and barcodes and have access database knowledge.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with customers to collate and upload orders
- Sending backorder and shelf list reports
- Checking release dates and stock availability with suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records and invoicing
- Assisting the Warehouse team with packing, boxing, and courier booking
- Offering excellent customer service and support
Key Responsibilities
- Handle orders from customers, ensuring accurate and timely processing
- Coordinate with suppliers for release dates, order fills, and stock updates
- Utilize an access database for data entry, order management, and invoicing
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to ensure proper packaging and delivery
