Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Poole, United Kingdom. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages to our valued customers while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations
• Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items
• Pre-planned and optimized delivery routes for maximum efficiency – This is all done for you.
• Use simple to use delivery app to navigate route and deliver parcels
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Valid UK/EU driver\’s license with no more than 6 points
• Navigation skills and familiarity with Poole and surrounding areas is an advantage
• Time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in using smartphones and delivery-related applications
• Previous delivery experience is not necessary as full training is given
• Offer high level customer service, with a friendly and professional attitude
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 23kg
• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays as needed
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
