Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference to patients and communities? We are seeking dedicated General Practitioners (GP) to join our team at Whitehouse Surgery. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care. We welcome applications from both experienced GPs and those at an early stage of their career.

About the Role

  • Full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time roles available
  • Flexible working across Monday to Friday
  • Availability to work between 8 am - 6:30 pm is essential
  • ARRS‑funded role available (20 hours per week), subject to eligibility criteria:
    • Within 2 years of CCT at the time of the appointment
    • Must not have previously held a substantive salaried GP post in general practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a mix of telephone, face‑to‑face, and home visit consultations
  • Deliver planned and urgent primary care tailored to patient needs
  • Support patients with complex and long‑term conditions
  • Provide clinical advice and guidance to the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain high standards of evidence‑based, patient‑focused care

Essential Requirements

  • GMC registered and on the GP Specialty Register
  • Inclusion on the Performers List
  • Experience in primary or urgent care, or newly qualified with a willingness to develop
  • Skilled communicator with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Well organised and committed to delivering high‑quality patient care

What We Offer

You will be part of a supportive local team, working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team including Practice Nurses, ACPs, Wellbeing Advisors, Health Coaches and Physician Associates. You will also benefit from support provided by the OneMedical Group leadership and central teams.
